Jersey City Slam

Jersey City Slam is a nationally recognized poetry slam and open mic now in its 10th season. Jersey City Slam provides a safe space for poets to showcase their voices where they can free of bias, conflict, criticism, or potentially threatening actions. The poetry slam is an interactive poetry competition putting the power in the hands of the judges picked at random from the audience letting the community decide who is the winner. The open mic is open to any discipline and to people of all walks of life with something to share.
