Kimberly Green Latin American and Caribbean Center at Florida International University

The Latin American and Caribbean Center within the School of International and Public Affairs at Florida International University was founded in 1979 to promote the study of Latin America and the Caribbean in the State of Florida and throughout the United States. By forging linkages across the Americas through high quality education, research aimed at better understanding the most urgent problems confronted by the region; national and international outreach; and meaningful dialogue between different ethnic communities, nationalities and cultures that claim the Americas as their homeland, LACC aspires to become one of the top Latin American and Caribbean Centers in the world.
