MIAMI CHAMBER MUSIC SOCIETY BIO   “The Miami Chamber Music Society has drawn the before-and-after line in the chamber music sand” - Greg Stepanich, Palm Beach Arts Paper  Critically acclaimed for its original and innovative programming, Miami Chamber Music Society (MCMS) presents world-class classical music performances to the audiences of South Florida. By commissioning new works and fusing various artistic disciplines MCMS creates ground-breaking and captivatingmulti-genre thematic experiences – each performance is programmed to be a unique intersection of music, literature, dance and film. In addition to the multiple sold-out world premiers at the Adrienne Arsht Center, MCMS curates and produces The Mainly Mozart Festival – one of the most beloved and respected chamber music series in Miami. Now in its 24th season Mainly Mozart presents outstanding local and visiting classical artists in concert.   MCMS dedication to education and community engagement is evident through the sold-out lecture series presented in conjunction with the festival, educational family concerts, free performances and youth competitions educating and providing inspiration and access to live classical music to underserved audiences and maximizing the positive impact of art on the community. MCMS was founded in 2013 by Mike Eidson, President, a dynamic cultural activist and visionary who, in addition to his career as a nationally recognized trial lawyer, has served in leadership roles with such organizations as the Miami City Ballet and The Adrianne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts, the Kristi House for abused children and the Miami Project to Cure Paralysis. In 2002 Mr. Eidson received the Lott Award from the Miami-Dade County Cultural Alliance for his work supporting the arts. Dr. Marina Radiushina, MCMS Artistic Director, is an internationally renowned concert pianist, winner of numerous prestigious awards and the Rubinstein and Horowitz international competitions. She performed in some of the most prestigious concert hall across the globe such as Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center in New York, the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory, Suntory Hall in Tokyo, Theatre Champs Elysees in Paris. Her orchestral performances and collaborations included Mariinsky Orchestra, Rotterdam Philharmonic, Munich Philharmonic and the Ukrainian National Orchestra; conductors Valery Gergiev, Sir Simon Rattle, David Robertson and Pablo Heras-Casado among others. Marina was a fellow of The Academy - a program of Carnegie Hall, the Julliard School and the Weill Music Institute, a highly competitive program that prepares select musician to take on entrepreneurial and leadership roles in today's music world. As a chamber musician she performs with DECODA - Carnegie Hall's chamber music ensemble-in-residence.  In Miami Marina is on the faculty of the Florida International University and curates the internationally renowned Mainly Mozart Festival, now in its 24th season.
