Minnesota Center for Reading Research

The Minnesota Center for Reading Research (MCRR) is a college-wide research center in the College of Education and Human Development at the University of Minnesota. The mission of the Minnesota Center for Reading Research is to conduct applied research on reading and teaching approaches that facilitate reading instruction and to share that knowledge broadly to educators in K-12 school settings. The MCRR conducts research that supports teachers in the following areas: effective instructional approaches, research-based school-wide literacy programs, literacy assessments to monitor progress, and professional development and outreach.
