MLK Institute for Nonviolence

The Westchester Martin Luther King Jr. Institute for Nonviolence is a non-profit organization based in White Plains.  Inspired by Dr. King and the Civil Rights Movement, we facilitate nonviolent action for social justice and teach nonviolence as a way of life.     Our programs include a MLK Freedom Library with over 2,000 books and media, conferences for youth to learn alternative skills to violence, workshops and gatherings for adults, youth and families to learn how to build safe, peaceful communities through conversation, education and celebration.   To find out more about us, visit us at www.mlkwestchester.org.
