NE Ohio Lyme Foundation

NE Ohio Lyme Foundation is a non-profit 501c3 organization created by Marlin and Connie Moschell to help those battling Lyme disease as well as other tick-borne illnesses.In 2012, our daughter Megan was diagnosed with Lyme disease after several years of illness.  Left untreated for so long, her disease became chronic, and we have had to travel outside of Ohio to obtain adequate treatment for her condition. In 2014, our second daughter, Sara was also diagnosed with Lyme disease.  Because of awareness and understanding of Lyme disease from our experiences with Megan, Sara's diagnosis was made quickly and her treatment has been less complex. It has been our desire to bring awareness and education to our area, so others do not have to suffer.  Lyme disease is becoming a serious health issue in our county.  Many people have been diagnosed with Lyme disease, and the numbers are growing at an alarming rate.  Options in our county and even in Ohio and the surrounding states for diagnosis and treatment are limited. Through this organization we hope to provide awareness and support for those suffering with Lyme disease and other tick-borne illnesses.
