North Plus (African American Financial Capability Initiative)

North Plus is a program of the African American Financial Capability Initiative collaboration comprised of four community-based organizations: Minneapolis Urban League, Hope United Community Development Corporation, NorthPoint Health & Wellness Center, Inc., and Summit Academy OIC.    Our goal is to design and integrate a holistic referral network within our Community of Practice that provides culturally-anchored financial capability & ​well-being services to African Americans in North Minneapolis, starting with staff as our pilot group during 2018.
