Pastor Pamela Wortham, Executive Director of Victory House,

You, my brothers, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the sinful nature; rather, serve one another in love. Galatians 5:13 Pastor Pamela Wortham has truly been “Called to Serve” the body of Christ.   Pastor Pam, as she is affectionately called, is a native of Chicago, IL.  She is anointed to reach the hearts of others through her transparency in sharing what God has done in her life.  Pastor Pam is currently the Executive Director of Victory House, Discipleship for Women; located in the Morgan Park Neighborhood of Chicago. Victory House, is a Christian residential program for women designed to provide them with the tools needed to live a Victorious Life using biblical principles and relying on their faith in Jesus Christ. Pastor Pam knows firsthand what God can do with a life that has been truly submitted to Him.   Pastor Pam, is an alumnus and former Director of North Central New Life for Girls, in Chicago, where she helped countless women bound by addictions to realize their “new life” in Christ. “All I wanted was to be free from addiction.  I never saw myself in ministry as I am today; but God’s vision was for something greater.  Today, as I look back over the past 21 years since graduating New Life for Girls, I can see His Creative Hand at work on areas of my life that would prepare me for where I am today.”  Pastor Pam currently serves on the Presbytery of Chosen Tabernacle Ministries in Chicago, under the leadership of Pastors Walter and Sandra Gillespie where “Touching, Changing and Developing Lives” is their mission. She continues to pour out of herself the love that was so freely given to her.  “Today I am passionate about the healing power of the Word of God in the lives of men and women.  I know that God brought me out of a lifestyle full of loneliness, depression, low self esteem, addiction, bitterness and unforgiveness; so that today I am able to be a light in a dark place. I have the joy of the Lord living on the inside of me; I know that I am fearfully and wonderfully made and that I am the righteousness of Christ. I truly am “REDEEMED”  Pastor Pam lives on the south side of Chicago with her husband Adrian and the joy of their lives, their granddaughter, Vitalani.
