Portishead Open Air Pool

Portishead open air pool was saved by the community, and is run by the community. The 33m main pool, and the smaller toddler pool, are heated to 28c between April and September, and from the end of September to Christmas cold water swimming session are available. A range of events are run throughout the year, including charity events, school galas, full moon swims and the annual Christmas morning dip. The pool's community cafe, Cafe Lido, makes the most of the stunning setting on the banks of the Bristol Channel and serves Fair Trade tea / coffee and wide variety of hot and cold snacks.
