Reverse Garbage

Reverse Garbage is an internationally recognised environmental charity committed to inspring people to make reuse their first choice. Started by teachers in 1974, we continue to educate the community on the benefits of reuse. We offer workshops for children and adults here at Reverse Garbage in Marrickville, at festivals, shopping centres and schools. We also offer professional devlopment sessions for educators. Each year Reverse Garbage diverts 260 tonnes of industrial and commercial discards from landfill and helps it find new life with educators, artists, upcyclers, DIY enthusiasts, tinkerers, set builders, window dressers, community organisations, festivals, charities and more.
