WHAT WE DO
Our aim is to be a platform for discussion & engagement for our Film, TV and new Broadcast Media industry with all stakeholders and for all perspectives.
We engage on issues and offer consultation on industry policies and grant schemes with IMDA, MCI, NTUC, MOM, IPOS and Law Society Pro-Bono Services.
We work towards raising awareness with information primer sessions on legal rights, insurance and self-management (including info on access to training grants and allowances, and about government benefits and dues) etc.
We will also focus on producing a Code of Best Practices for Media Practitioners in various specialisations as a ground-up effort led by the working professionals themselves.
We will collaborate and consult with the media schools, and help guide new entrants into the industry.
Other activities we will conduct include professionals networking and sharing sessions, as well as masterclasses.
A future key feature will be a Professionals Portal with a Practitioners Database and a real-time job-matching app is currently in development.
