Sasin Center for Sustainability Management

ESTABLISHED ON 1 OCTOBER 2011, SCSM is a collaboration between Sasin Graduate Institute of Business Administration of Chulalongkorn University and the Corporate Responsibility & Ethics Association for Thai Enterprise (CREATE). At Sasin, corporate responsibility is more than a trendy catch-phrase. It is at the very centre of Sasin’s Core Values: “Teamwork and leadership guided by wisdom, integrity and social responsibility.” It is also among our fundamental learning objectives. Sasin, the first internationally accredited business school in Thailand, is dedicated to helping future leaders understand the necessity for a sustainability mindset to long-term business success in the area of sustainability management, a rapidly emerging area of interest around the world. Combining the principles of sustainable development, corporate social responsibility, and HM King Bhumibol’s Sufficiency Economy Philosophy, sustainability management addresses the importance of all stakeholders to the long-term success of a business. Among other things, SCSM emphasises the importance of partnerships that work toward social, environmental, and economic balance.
