Somewhere in the Middle

"Somewhere in the Middle" is a group of musicians who met through their shared interest of meditation and have created a unique musical bond. The group combines east meets west with unique instruments and a folk feel.  Artists Kathy Mcguire, Julie Ratio and Shobana Shanmugavelayutham all have unique backgrounds, varying from classical Indian music, to American blues. The group combines their musical styles to bring you folk, meditation and fusion music. The group name "Somewhere in the Middle" is symbolic of their unique styles, bridging east meets west, and a reference to seeking balance through meditative practice.
