TCH Autism Center and Meyer Center Social Work Team

The social work team at Texas Children's Hospital Autism Center and Meyer Center for Developmental Pediatrics has developed an educational model that begins at the point of referral and continues through diagnosis and ongoing care. With our emphasis on patient and family education and self-determination, as well as empowerment of families to access resources and advocate on behalf of their children, we launched an educational outreach strategy that includes these programs.
