The Last Real Circus Show

The Last Real Circus Show are an American folk rock  band based out of Washington DC, and Richmond, VA.  The founding members are Jason Farlow (lead vocals, guitar), Joey Gibson (Guitar, vocals) Kenny Puri  (drums, percussion), Yuchen Tian (Bass) & Tara Dillard (Violinist/Vocals).  The Band has members in both the nations capital Washington, DC and a home base in the heart of Richmond, VA. The Last Real Circus Show emerged on the circuit two years ago, covering other popular folk bands, while adding in their own originals & sound to the mix. It wasn’t until last year, it was decided to “Pack the circus tents up” and take their act up and down the east coast.  The band has quickly gained a big following with loyal fans from all over, with their soulful heartbeat singles, “Dianna (Oh la la),” “Chaplin’s Life,” and “Merry-Go Round.” With the addition of “Venus“ and “Lonely Bison“ to the set list, The Last Real Circus Show is completing its full-sound to give fans an adventure to remember. The band's stripped back raw sound draws heavily from artists that influenced them including: “The Lumineers”, “Avett Brothers”, “Counting Crows”, “Mumford and Sons”, “Tom Petty”, “Head and the Heart”, “Fleet Foxes”, and others alike. You can also hear the presence of “Kings of Leon” and “Van Morrison.” They are known for their energetic stage presence, storytelling and overall musicianship towards their music and fans. Staying true to the meaning of their tales.
