As the world’s only professional body dedicated to the entire aerospace & aviation community, the RAeS exists to further the advancement of aeronautical art, science and engineering around the world. Established in 1866, the Society has been at the forefront of developments in aerospace ever since, seeking to:
Promote the highest professional standards in all aerospace disciplines
Provide specialist information & act as a central forum for the exchange of ideas
Play a leading role in influencing opinion on aerospace matters
The Adelaide Branch hosts monthly lectures for the enjoyment and professional development of its members and the general public.
Unless otherwise specified, lectures are held on the last Tuesday of each month, commencing at 6:00pm, preceeded by refreshments at 5:30pm. All lectures are held at UniSA, Mawson Lakes Campus (Building MM1-05, University Boulevard) unless otherwise specified. There is ample car parking adjacent the lecture hall.
