Trubys Garden Tea Room

Trubys Garden Tea Room is an interfaith community cafe run by Muslim women building positive relationships between communities in Milton Keynes. Trubys Garden Tea Room builds and fosters positive relationships with the local Muslim and wider community within Milton Keynes encouraging an interfaith approach to tackle wider issues within the local community. The inclusive and creative nature of the Tea Room has led to many other initiatives like supporting the homeless, and settling new refugees to Milton Keynes and enhancing volunteering opportunities for the local community. Trubys Garden Tea Room opened its doors in November 2014 at the Islamic Centre in Coffee Hall raising almost £10k for the Centre as well as bringing people into the Centre enabling the Muslim community to get closer to Allah (SWT) and the wider community to learn about the beauty of Islam. The Tea Room now operates from the Guildhall, Church of Christ the Cornerstone, 300 Saxon Gate, Milton Keynes, MK9 2ES. Our next events are: - Saturday, 15 April, 12-5pm - Saturday, 15 July, 3-9pm celebrating MK's 50th Birthday - Saturday, 16 September, 12-5pm - Saturday, 18 November, 12-5pm Each event provides space for local projects and initiatives.
