Robert C. Martin,  (Uncle Bob), is an American software author and consultant. Uncle Bob has been a software professional since 1970 and an international software consultant since 1990. He is the author of several books and countless articles on software design.  He is a leader in the Software Craftsmanship and Agile Communities, was the first chair of the Agile Alliance, and one of the original signatories of the Agile Manifesto.  Clean Code is a movement.  Uncle Bob is at the forefront.  He is founder and president of Object Mentor Inc, Uncle Bob Consulting LLC and Clean Coders.
