We The People

Established in 2016, We The People (WTP) is the world’s only and largest brick-and-mortar chain to exclusively retail crowdfunded products. Since its inception, WTP has gone from 14 brands to over 160 brands with multiple product lines, including crowdfunded products that are featured in 5 locations across Singapore. Founded for creators by creators Ryan Sim, Joel Liew, Nison Chan, and CEO Jay Kang, the company achieved an 800% growth in revenue by the end of 2017. Providing entrepreneurial education, e-commerce, and brick-and-mortar retail, WTP is quickly becoming the hub of innovation in Asia. With the goal to bring together and support the global creator community, WTP plans for international expansion to the United States, Australia, Malaysia, and Indonesia by 2019. Its first U.S. location is set to open in late 2018. In collaboration with crowdfunding platforms, WTP also plans to host the world’s first Funded Forum in 2019. The annual event will provide an opportunity for all crowdfunded companies to meet Asia’s investors, distributors, and manufacturers to educate and network with the community around innovative product opportunities.
