Winter Solstice “Make Music” Parade & Stroll (Oakland)

Laurel District AssociationMake MUSIC – WINTER SOLSTICE EDITION Sunday, December 21 (2pm-4:30pm and beyond) All are welcome to celebrate WINTER SOLSTICE BY MAKING MUSIC AND SHARING IN LIBATIONS. PARADE BETWEEN TWO LOCATIONS WHERE YOU CAN ENJOY CRAFT BEVERAGES AND ENTERTAINMENT, and play instruments (or use your voice) as you go between each stop. All skill levels are encouraged to join in the PARADE! Bring your instrument (anything that makes noise works). ‣ START @ 2PM meet up at DEGREES PLATO (4251 MacArthur Blvd.) for libations! ‣ MAKE MUSIC @ 3:15 as you PARADE TO GHOST TOWN BREWING (3506 MacArthur Blvd.) and stay for more festivities! ‣ MAKE MUSIC @ 4:00pm as you PARADE BACK TO DEGREES PLATO ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE STREET THIS TIME. Stay for more merriment! This admission-free event raises awareness for International Make MUSIC DAY, which happens annually every Summer SOLSTICE.
