Miss Maybell & Her Ragtime Romeos

Following the release of their acclaimed album Under The Midnight Moon, Miss Maybell & Her Ragtime Romeos will perform live at The Back Room i n Berkeley on August 6. The concert features songs published between 1890 and 1930 that remained unrecorded for more than a century before being brought to life through years of archival research. Blending vintage jazz, ragtime, blues, and engaging storytelling, the performance offers audiences a rare opportunity to hear a forgotten chapter of American musical history. The Ragtime Romeos includes Miss Maybell's longtime collaborator Charlie Judkins on piano with local musicians Don Neely on reeds, and Marty Eggars on bass.
