The World Cup Stage is part of Make Music Day Berkeley, a free citywide celebration held each year on June 21 as part of the international Make Music Day movement, which brings people of all ages and skill levels together through live music in streets, plazas, sidewalks, parks, and public spaces around the world.
Taking place in Downtown Berkeley Plaza from 1–5pm, the World Cup Stage adds a special global flair to the day with an afternoon of free live performances inspired by the spirit and cultural energy of the World Cup. Presented in partnership with Visit Berkeley, this featured Plaza activation celebrates music as a universal language and invites the community to gather, listen, and enjoy the vibrant sounds of Berkeley and beyond.
