BERKELEY & SAN FRANCISCO, CA — January 2026 — The Fake gALLeRY is pleased to announce the official launch of the 2026 DADA tiny ART SHOW + WORLD TOUR, debuting in Berkeley Jan 16, 2026 before making its way—informally and irreverently—into San Francisco during San Francisco Art Week, January 17–25, 2026.

Fresh off dates in Sweden, including performances at Tranås at the Fringe and a guerrilla appearance in Stockholm, the internationally touring micro-gallery begins its 2026 season with a new batch of artwork and new participating artists. The 2026 tour features contributions from over 30 Canadian, American, and international artists, including local Oakland artist Jennifer Arzt, whose space—Arzt Gallery—hosts the Berkeley stop of the tour.

The DADA tiny ART SHOW + WORLD TOUR is an ever-evolving project that brings Dada’s radical spirit directly to communities around the globe. Presented in garages, galleries, home offices, cafés, and even inside a trenchcoat, the show embraces accessibility, humour, and the joyful dismantling of expectations around what art “should” be—and where it should live.

A Suitcase. A Gallery. A World Tour.

Fake gALLeRY’s DADA tiny ART SHOW + WORLD TOUR showcases 2D works no larger than 3” × 3” and sculptures under 1.5” × 1.5”. The entire exhibition fits into a single carry-on suitcase, a playful homage to Dada pioneer Marcel Duchamp’s Boîte-en-Valise—his portable “museum in a box.”

Curated by Vancouver-based artist Allison Beda, Creative Director of Fake gALLeRY, the show celebrates humour, spontaneity, and conceptual rebellion. Participating artists have created limited editions of their mini-masterpieces, available for purchase by those who wish to take home a piece of this singular project.

“Dada’s challenge to traditional art and societal issues is extremely relevant today. In a world in crisis, I hope people everywhere will appreciate a little humour, irreverence and joy,” says Beda.

“The DADA tiny ART SHOW is not just about the artworks; it’s about the experience and the joy of discovering art in unexpected places,” she continues. “By bringing this ridiculous exhibition to unconventional spaces, we’re making art fun, more accessible, getting people connected in real life.

A Global Journey Born in a Parisian Café

The DADA tiny ART SHOW +WORLD TOUR began in 2023 after Beda’s very first artist residency at Château d’Orquevaux in France. Inspired by tiny plinths built into the walls of a Parisian café, Beda staged a guerrilla Dada show there, an act of joyful rebellion that sparked the concept for a fully portable global exhibition.

Since then, the project has travelled in Beda’s backpack to Florence (Italy), Eina (Norway), Toronto (Canada), Maine, Oregon, New York City, and dozens of other unexpected locations worldwide.
