Come help celebrate! Join us in celebrating her 85th birthday, new
book and a new knee! Sally L. Saunders is a widely published Poet,
Poetry Therapist, Lecturer, Free-Lance Writer and Workshop Leader.
Sally’s work has appeared in The New York Times, Times
International, The London Times, The Denver Post, and among over three
hundred other anthologies, magazines and newspapers. Her lesson plan
for teaching poetry writing was published in The Christian Science
Monitor. She holds a B.S. degree from George Williams College.
Sally has published eight books of poetry. Her poetry collection
“Fresh Bread” is in the Library of Congress in the Jefferson or
Adams Building Reading Rooms. Her complete collection is also
available at the Scottish Poetry Library in Edinburgh, in tribute to
her ancestor, Scottish poet Robert Burns! Currently, she is an
active member in several professional societies including The Academy
of American Poets and the Association of Poetry Therapy. She has
