Chinatown Sketchwalk with Foodie David Kwok and Sketch Artist Meagan Burns

Submitted by the Event Organizer@meagan_burns_Friday, July 18, 2025 4pm – 8pm ​with optional group dinner @ 7-ish Chinatown, San Francisco, California Workshop Cost, Includes History Tour + Bites: $95   Let’s Sketch and Walk Chinatown Join artist and instructor Meagan Burns for an evening of drawing, wandering, and cultural immersion through the layered streets of San Francisco’s historic Chinatown. This special sketchwalk features guest guide David Kwok, a native San Franciscan and host of the popular Airbnb Experience Taste Chinatown. We’ll begin with a historical introduction led by David, where he’ll share stories, history, and neighborhood insights as we meander through Chinatown. While there, Meagan will infuse the on-location drawing prompts, where you can play with a continuous line or do your own thing. We will observe, draw, and connect with the energy of place. Expect a fun evening with fellow artists enjoying the sights, sounds and flavors of San Francisco’s historic Chinatown.  We’ll close the evening with an optional group dinner (not included in the ticket price) for those who’d like to linger. No experience required. Just bring your favorite sketch tools, your love of San Francisco  and your curiosity.
