Exploratorium typically celebrates Mother’s Day with one of its most
beloved traditions: a Pay What You Wish Community Day. > Not yet

its doors to the public on Mother’s Day for a day of family-friendly
fun, culture, and science—no admission required (well, you pay what
you can). Día de las Madres | Mother’s Day 2026 “Pay What You
Wish” Community Day Sunday, May 10, 2026 • 11:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.

celebrate this special holiday with their families at the
Exploratorium. To honor this day, we offer bilingual programming for
moms y toda la familia. Pay what you wish for a day of fun at the
Exploratorium! Please note: Pay what you wish on Community Days, when
museum entry is on a first-come, first-served basis. Entry is subject

(Sundays, 10:00 a.m.–noon) will not be available this day. Entry is
typically first-come, first-served and subject to capacity—so early
arrival is encouraged. Check the Exploratorium’s website for the
most up-to-date info. Disclaimer: Please double check event
