#5 Sailing - high school (Grades: 9-12) - Lake Pleasant, NY 2026

What could be better than riding the winds across beautiful Sacandaga Lake, with the mountains on the horizon and your friends by your side? We’re convinced it doesn’t get much better than that. No sailing experience is necessary to sign up for this trip (though it is certainly welcome), because we’ll teach you everything you need to know about sailing one of the sunfish sailboats we have at Camp Fowler. You’ll base out of the wilderness area where you’ll sleep in one of Fowler’s log lean tos and cook most of your own food. In between the sailing and the swimming, you might climb a mountain or paddle a canoe, because, why not? You'll also attempt to sail across the lake to camp for the night, a wonderful way to wrap up a week spent on the water!
