SFMOMA’s “Free Family Day” Free Museum Day (2026)

SFMOMA The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA) welcomes families and inter-generational audiences to the museum for its Free Family Day on June 14, 2026. The June 2026 Free Family Day will feature the newly refreshed Fisher Collection galleries on Floor 5. We’ll celebrate the colorful and vibrant works of Ellsworth Kelly, Sol LeWitt, and Alexander Calder. Check back for the full schedule in the spring! While the museum is always free for visitors 18 and younger, on Free Family Day, it is also free for up to four adults accompanying each visitor 18 and younger. Up to four adults may each claim a free ticket when accompanied by a visitor 18 and younger on Free Family Day. Reserve your free tickets when they become available. Admission to special exhibitions that require a surcharge is not included (but may be purchased for an additional fee) If you arrive unaccompanied by someone 18 or under, you’ll need to purchase tickets.
