A roller skating rink at the Golden Gate Bridge, one of the most famous landmarks in the world? This is like a dream come true!!! From July 15 through July 20, Building 937 in San Francisco's Presidio will transformed into a fantastic roller disco, the Church of 8 Wheels Golden Gate.
Skate Week is a 5 day celebration of roller skating and inline skating in the greatest city in the world – San Francisco!!! It celebrates 45 years since the birth of the Golden Gate Park Skate Patrol which was formed to keep roller skating from being banned in Golden Gate Park
On Thursday night, July 17, 2025, we will present LBGTQ+ Pride Night at the Church of 8 Wheels Golden Gate. It's time to get in you best roller disco outfit , strut your stuff and feel just as free to do it as anyone on this planet!!! With a mix of Disco/House, this will surely be another example of San Francisco's unique roller skating vibe and culture.
We will present skate sessions here for the public every day with different themes and DJs for five days and nights.
