The creators, Amie and Matt Chapman, dedicate their mission to help their fellow humans. During the show they endure much drama in order to train their pups for proper development while also juggling the constant struggles and joy anyone who has ever raised a puppy may identify with. However, when they add the challenges of working in the public sector to the mix, these canines must endure and learn many things most dogs only dream about. Both in their mid-thirties, and married to one another, they have different levels of knowledge. Amie has vast experience at raising these guide pups. Matt on the other hand has a lot to learn, but is trying to catch up while he films the web series at the same time. After a pup graduates to guide dog status, saying good bye pulls at the heart strings even though a puppy raiser understands that they are helping change the life of someone in need. As each season unfolds the audience will experience the questions "Despite the vast challenges, will this pup have what it takes to become a guide dog? And if they do, how on earth can they let them go?"
