Beginning tango dance classes with Felipe and Ayano at the Berkeley City Club

Join us for TANGO CLASSES WITH FELIPE MARTINEZ AND AYANO YONEDA IN BERKELEY! FELIPE AND AYANO TEACH FUN, challenging CLASSES THAT EMPHASIZE THE UNDERLYING STRUCTURE OF TANGO. No experience is necessary for the beginner class.These classes are taught using the terms “leaders” and “followers,” and are inclusive to queer, trans, and non-binary people. Everyone is encouraged to lead and follow. Wednesdays: October 28th, November 4th & 11th 6:45 pm: check-in 7:00-8:00 pm BEGINNING TANGO 8:00-8:30 pm practica 8:30-9:30 pm intermediate TANGO 9:30-10:30 pm practica The practicas are included with the classes. Stay, dance, and ask questions! Beginners and intermediates practice together from 8:00 to 8:30. The intermediate class is geared towards people who have been dancing for at least three months (12 tango classes). Beginners are welcome to watch the intermediate class. $60 series ticket (three CLASSES, beg. or int.) $25 general admission (single class, beg. or int.) $15 student with ID (single class, beg. or int.)
