Start your day with a guided wildflower hike in the gentle rolling
hills of TAYLOR MOUNTAIN + a 75-minute grounding, Vinyasa flow yoga
class + a healthy vegetarian lunch box (optional). Well-behaved dogs
on leash are also welcome. so bring your furry friends!
Practicing yoga in a beautiful, natural environment enables you more
deeply connect within yourself. Surrounded by nature, feelings of
anger, fear, worry, and stress naturally begin to melt away, allowing
you to truly relax your body, heart and mind and tap into the
reservoir of strength, hope, and inspiration that exists within.
TAYLOR MOUNTAIN IS A 1,100-acre park that is home to gentle, grazing
cattle and many other creatures and birds. Retreat from your daily
life and take in the sweet scent of green, grassy hills, oak
woodlands, running creeks, wildflowers galore, and panoramic city
views all the way to the Pacific Ocean. From the trailhead/parking
lot, we'll hike in for about 30 minutes on a scenic trail with a nice
steady incline until we reach the meadow where we'll practice yoga.
We'll hike back out together. Plan for about 2 hours total (and
remember not to eat a heavy meal 2 hours before yoga practice).
