Take a morning stroll in NORMAL HEIGHTS WITH US TO ENJOY ART,
CULTURE, and conversation. Did you know in 1910 the 810 residents in
Normal Heights included people from Germany, Sweden, Japan and China?
That diversity continues today—come and meet the community that is
Normal Heights by joining our walking tour, where we will be visiting
stops along a small stretch of Adams Avenue, learning about the
diverse culture of the area, and hearing about public art pieces. This
immersive experience will point out the details that make this place
unique.
Here’s how it works: Show up at the designated meeting spot, listen
to a few recordings on your phone (smartphone or web-enabled phone and
headphones are needed) as we walk to each destination, and in between
we will share a few more tidbits about the neighborhood, ending with
an optional lunch at a local eatery.
THE PRICE OF THE TICKET INCLUDES ONE DRINK AT A LOCAL CAFE.
Meet by the playground at Ward Canyon Neighborhood Park, 3905 Adams
Ave, San Diego, CA 92116.
What you should know:
* wear comfortable shoes
* bring sunglasses or hat
* bring headphones and your fully charged phone

Following the walk, you are welcome to join US for conversation at
