When: 2nd and 4th Monday of the month, 10:00–11:00am (some
exceptions may apply)

Cost: Free Working in the mental health field can be very difficult,
especially for those just getting started. Like their clients,
THERAPISTS NEED A SPACE TO PROCESS, explore, and receive support. This
GROUP SEEKS TO CREATE A SAFE ENVIRONMENT TO SUPPORT FELLOW THERAPISTS
IN OUR COMMUNITY, to discuss the challenges in our field, and to use
these opportunities for growth. These opportunities may include:
building confidence in your skills, practicing self-care, managing
vicarious trauma, making the most of your supervision and other
resources, acclimating to your new role as a mental health
practitioner, and developing a professional network for
referrals.Goals for this group include:
o Gain tools for managing stress and overwhelm with your practice
o Develop self-care tools
o Process countertransference issues
o Managing vicarious trauma
o Share developing private practice tips
o Learn and support each other with how to navigate challenges in your
practice
o Networking and referral opportunities
