groundbreaking compositions, Kronos Quartet are known for performing
pioneering music from both within the contemporary classical sphere
and beyond. Since their foundation in 1973 they have performed over a
thousand commissions, from composers and artists as diverse and
wide-ranging as as Steve Reich, Bjork, Philip Glass, Frank Zappa, Nine
Inch Nails, Arvo Part, Paul McCartney and many, many more.
