Week 1: Get started with the basics: retirement accounts, education savings accounts, brokerage accounts, and the different platforms you can use. We’ll also talk about how to spot (and avoid!) common scams and sneaky pitfalls. Week 2: Take it up a notch with mutual funds, ETFs, life cycle funds, indexes, bonds, and cash investments. Week 3: Wrap it up with stock investing, understanding the market through fundamental and technical analysis, and learning about real estate investment trusts (REITs). Of course, we’ll keep calling out the red flags and scams to watch for along the way. Come curious and leave confident; it’s time to make your money work for you!
