Yoga Building Blocks -- Build A Solid Foundation! Come down-shift with
Christy on Thursday nights from 5:30 - 6:45. As with life, class
begins with the breath, from there we will lay a good foundation on
our mats for a thoughtfully sequenced set of classic yoga poses in the
Iyengar tradition. This class will have you moving with intention and
tinkering with pieces and parts of poses before everything is put
together again. This means that places of stability and flexibility
will be examined and feed the final sequence of class. Class will
always end with time to feel the residue of practice in savasana.
Whether you are totally new to yoga, a relatively unbendy human, or an
experienced practitioner, make time to tune into your body and thread
the connections between the work we do on the mat to feed our work off
the mat.
