Week 2: Summer Camp (Ages 7 - 8) - Brooklyn, NY 2026

"Textile Arts Center Summer Camp welcomes campers to create and connect with the world of contemporary and historical textiles in interactive and exciting week long programs. Campers ages 7 - 8 have fun creating textile projects with their peers inspired by textile related exhibitions and local textile artists. Campers will try their hand at printing, felting, sewing, weaving, and dyeing with both natural + synthetic dyes. Each week features a different themed project with a focus on learning new techniques and making skills. The daily camp schedule is Monday-Friday from 9-3pm in Textile Arts Center in Brooklyn: 9am: Drop off at Textile Arts Center 9:30am: Textile Class 10:30am: Snack 11:30am: Group Play at the park 12:30pm: Lunch 1pm: Craft Time 2:30pm: Snack 3pm: Snack & Pick up at Textile Arts Center Extended day from 3-5pm is available (registration required) (this daily schedule is a sample subject to change based on weather & project needs)
