One Liner Madness

Founded in Brooklyn in 2016, ONE LINER MADNESS is a Time Out Critics' Pick traveling comedy contest that finds the best joke writers in the country. On April Fools Day, 64 NYC comedians will go head-to-head in a bracket-style, single-elimination, 1-liner joke contest. Audience applause determines which performers advance & who ultimately becomes the 2026 CHAMP & winner of the trophy & cash prize. Like a March Madness tournament of jokes but in just under 2 hours. Hosted/created/produced by comedian & game show writer Emily Winter (E!, The New Yorker, NPR), & Larry Mancini (the Brooklyn Comedy Festival). Door Time-7:00pm (front bar opens @ 6:00pm). Show Time-8:00pm. 21 & over w/ valid, government-issued photo ID. General Admission standing & seating. Seating is 1st come 1st served & not guaranteed. Arrive early for best selection.
