GOLDEN EVERYTHING
Golden Everything continues to shine with a new single Better Day, available everywhere now. The husband-and-wife duo from Nashville who brought us Sweet Old World in late 2024 are back with an acoustic EP Down Time, set for release later this summer. In trying to find balance between artistry and raising a child, Golden Everything seeks to “not overthink it” with their new EP. “This project was an exercise in simplicity; no overdubs, no additions, just two vocals and a guitar. Recorded as if we were rehearsing in our living room.” Collaborating with longtime friend Jesse Noah Wilson at Rancho Deluxe Studios, they said about the new material, “We were already in the process of making a new album but these songs manifested out of nowhere. It felt like the right time to spend an afternoon recording them and get them out into the world.”
DANNY GOLDEN
Danny Golden’s music carries the imprint of a uniquely American journey. Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Golden came of age in a city where the grit of the Rust Belt meets the foothills of Appalachia and the sweep of the heartland. Those worlds still echo through his songs. He left Pittsburgh for Colorado College, where he studied philosophy, classical music, and bluegrass banjo, culminating in a senior thesis in which he reimagined Bach for bluegrass instruments. From there, he followed music to Austin, Texas, which he has called home for the last decade. In Austin, he has performed and recorded as a singer/songwriter, bandleader, and musical journeyman, writing and playing instruments for artists ranging from indie rock bands to soul singers to country songwriters. Through these varied adventures, Golden has forged a voice and sound all his own. His music blends folk, indie rock, and confessional storytelling into his own distinct brand of Americana. Recently, Golden has toured nationally with his band and performed alongside artists including Shakey Graves, David Ramirez, Rob Baird, and Matthew Logan Vasquez of Delta Spirit.
Danny Golden’s new album The Big Blue comes out June 24, 2026.
