The Kwanzaa Ball: A Night of Culture & Cooperative Joy is a family-centered, intergenerational celebration honoring the Nguzo Saba (Seven Principles of Kwanzaa) through culture, community recognition, and collective reflection. The evening will feature cultural performances, youth moments, and the honoring of local leaders, creatives, and community builders whose work embodies unity, purpose, creativity, self-determination, and cooperative economics. The Ball brings together elders, youth, families, entrepreneurs, artists, and civic leaders to close the year grounded in tradition and vision.
Proceeds from the event support VOYCE Inc. / The 876 Project’s year-round programming — including youth tech access, entrepreneurship support, arts and cultural education, civic engagement initiatives, and the continued growth of Juneteenth in Queens 2026 — as well as community support efforts across the African diaspora.
The Kwanzaa Ball is both a celebration and a call to action: a space to honor those who sustain our communities and to invest collectively in the future we are building together.
