As part of the second DANCE REFLECTIONS FESTIVAL IN NEW YORK, Van
Cleef & Arpels invites young movers to step into the studio and
experience contemporary DANCE UP CLOSE THROUGH A SERIES OF
KID-friendly WORKSHOPS AT THE JOYCE’s Center for Creativity &
DANCE.Designed especially for children starting at age 6, these
workshops are led by the very artists and dancers featured in the
Festival’s performances — offering kids a rare opportunity to
learn directly from world-class choreographers and companies they (and
their families) will see on stage. Through movement, rhythm, and
guided exploration, participants are introduced to contemporary dance
in a welcoming, playful, and age-appropriate setting.
Workshops are open to beginners and require no prior dance experience.
Class sizes are limited to allow for individual attention.
