Holographic Studios NYC is pleased to announce a lecture by visiting artist and visionary Richard Bruck (b. 1956) in conjunction with his current exhibition Breathe In, Breathe Out. Richard will shed light on the innovation behind his holography, from analog photography and photojournalism, sculptural perception, to the use of light as both concept and material.
In this groundbreaking body of work created by laser-visible transmission and white-light reflection holography, Breathe In, Breathe Out asks how images can occupy space, how perception shapes our sense of physical reality, and how light can become a vehicle for emotional depth.
Richard will also discuss how the current exhibition meets at the intersection of portraiture, abstraction and sculpture. A reception will follow the lecture.
