A three-time Grammy nominee and founding member of NYC’s legendary Groove Collective, Jay has shared stages with icons including James Brown, Widespread Panic, Dave Matthews, and Isaac Hayes, and backed Tupac Shakur at the MTV Awards. His versatility spans jazz, funk, soul, and pop, collaborating with an extraordinary range of talent from musical legends to contemporary pop artists. For 30 years, Jay has been an integral force shaping New York City’s sonic landscape, contributing vital compositions, arrangements, and solos that define the city’s musical identity.
