Is forgiveness is the only path to peace of mind? What drives both the non-apologizer and the over-apologizer? Why do the Hebrew and Christian scriptures encourage making restitution and offering apology for wrongs done to one’s neighbors, family and friends, and even for transgressions to one’s God? We are excited to present an evening on a crucial topic of our time, discussed by two experts in the field. Jacqui Lewis will speak from her perspective as pastor, and public theologian and activist and Harriet Lerner from her perspective as a psychologist and psychotherapist.  We anticipate that the different lenses through which our presenters view the apology and the subject of forgiveness will  challenge and deepen the conversation for all of us.
