NYUGALA2025 ? "A Journey to the West" is inspired by the classic Chinese novel, Journey to the West, and reimagined through the experiences of young Chinese students in New York City. The gala explores self-discovery and growth within a cross-cultural context. Uniquely structured as a theatrical narrative, the show integrates music, dance, animation, sketches, and film to create a cohesive and immersive experience. It celebrates both Eastern and Western artistic forms, highlighting cultural exchange and showcasing the global perspective and confidence of a new generation of Chinese youth. The Apollo?s Historic Theater is currently under renovation. All ticket holders must enter using the 126th street entrance between Frederick Douglass and Adam Clayton Powell Blvds.
