David D'Angelo is a Peruvian-American producer and multi-instrumentalist who crafts a unique blend of electronic, hip-hop, funk, and neo-soul into his sonic creations. He released his debut EP, “Born in Paradise” while touring New Zealand in late 2016. New Zealand’s leading music magazine and blog, NZ Musician, compared “Born in Paradise” to work from artists like Mndsgn, Dam Funk, and Snarky Puppy – saying the record “demonstrates some intense musical flair.” Soon after, “Born in Paradise” was playing on over 50 college radio stations across the US and Canada, making it onto the NACC Top 5 Electronic Charts and NACC Top 200. David has performed alongside such noteworthy acts as FKJ (French Kiwi Juice) and Grammy-nominated trumpeter/producer, Christian Scott.
Dave Binanay (Violin Remix) trained for years as a classical violinist, studying under the likes of Sharon Zimmerman and Brian Reagan – current Concert Master of the North Carolina Symphony. In the classical realm, Dave has performed at Carnegie Hall and the White House. While attending Villanova University, he developed an appreciation and skill for improvisation and along with this, began embracing other genres of music. Dave’s violin has since become a compelling part of the Triangle Area’s vibrant music scene as a teacher, live performer, and studio musician – recording with producers such as Chris Sharp and Hall of Fame bassist, Chip Shearin.
