Join us October 19 and 20 at 7:30pm in the historic Fargo Theatre for
a celebration of the 1920’s with an evening of swing music, dancers,
and a screening of the 1925 comedy silent film “The Freshman,”
starring legendary comedian Harold Lloyd. An original score to the
movie will be played LIVE on the iconic Mighty Wurlitzer Theatre Pipe
organ by Lance Johnson.Enjoy to the toe-tapping sounds of the Fargo
Theatre All-Stars Big Band as they play hit swing tunes from the swing
era with award winning dancers Bob and Bonnie Ames dancing the night
away on stage with the band.
Come early to see classic and antique cars on display from members of
the FM Horseless Carriage Club before the show, weather permitting.
Pre-show music starts at 7:10pm and will be played by Ryan Hardy, a
local young organist who is a four-time finalist in the international
Young Theatre Organists Competition.
