Description Tai Chi, also known as “meditation in motion,” is
identified as one of the best exercises for seniors to maintain and
improve balance while also helping to increase strength, flexibility,
and stamina. As a low impact exercise, Tai Chi promotes mental and
physical health. Starting with a warm up of standing stretches, the
class will work on a standard form of slow movements that flow
together seamlessly. Wear comfortable clothing and bring a water
bottle. Drop-in students who are unable to attend a class during the
first two weeks of a month are required to wait until the beginning of
the next month to attend.
