Eye of the Needle Wines are 'Master Blended', committed to high quality and "real world" prices, sourced from winery and vineyard partners in WA State. Bob and Lauren are grounded in reality, like vines in the soil. So they knew they were taking a huge risk starting a business in a down economy. But they also had life experiences that have made them tough. After Bob survived a major health crisis, they realized life was too short not to do what they loved. And they pour that love and vibrancy into every bottle they produce. When they made the first 440 cases in 2009, Bob joked with Lauren, “we better like this because we may be drinking it until we are gone.” But the wine sold out in 11 weeks. It was a great wine at a great price at a great time. Today, Eye of the Needle produces ten times that amount. And it’s still flying out the door. Wine lovers recognize a good value when they taste it! It turns out, with experience, hard work and passion, dreams really do come true.
